City
fans will get their chance in July to buy their seat, or other
parts of Filbert Street.
Season
tickets are going to be offered the chance to buy the seats
they currently sit in (date tba). And various other bits are
to be auctioned off to raise money to bring more kids through
the ranks.
The
official site announced today that there would be "Unique
items up for grabs including turnstiles, furniture, the dugout,
signed photographs, paintings, carpets, signed shirts and
balls and signage from the 111 year old ground."
There
will be more than 400 lots put on sale to the public through
the club and professional auctioneers SHM Smith Hodgkinson.
All
the money raised will be put into the Academy.
A
viewing day will take place on Friday July 26 from 2-8pm with
the auction starting from 10am on Saturday July 27.

detailing each lot will be available from the auctioneers,SHM

The
souvenir catalogue will cost £2.50 (plus £0.50 p&p). It can
be obtained from the auctioneers SHM by sending a cheque for
£3.00 to the auctioneers: Leicester City Auction, SHM Smith
Hodgkinson, Waldorf House, 5 Cooper Street, Manchester M2
2FW.
Some
memorabilia will also be offered via the official site at
www.lcfc.com.
Bigger
items including the floodlights, scoreboard, heated pitch
cover, turnstiles, bulk seating and generators will be sold
via public tender and businesses should apply in writing to
the club or SHM Smith Hodgkinson.
