So Micky Adams is still unbeaten in the Premiership as City
boss...but what did he have to say about this dull drab 0-0
affair at Craven Cottage?
"We
were well aware of the carnival atmosphere around the place
and how people were predicting a home win .
"To
a degree that was our motivation - if there was a cake going
to be brought out we wanted to blow the candles out. We did
our job, its not been the most entertaining of games but I'm
sure the Fulham fans won't begrudge me a point."
Not
been the most entertaining of games? Understatement of the
season. Shame
the fulham fans didn't join in on the carnival atmosphere
either...
Jean
Tigana didn't seem to happy with his team's efforts, saying,
"It
was a very bad game and I'm disappointed because it was our
last game at home."
"I
have many things to work on this summer. We need to play more
quickly and get more players scoring."
Sounds
familiar...
