Martin
O'Neill made his emotional return to Filbert Street last night
as Leicester was descended on by 8000 very pished Scots. The
town was a sea of green and white hoops.
Neil
Lennon and Steve Guppy played the first half to loud cheers
from both sides, and Sav was booed to kingdom come for saying
he'd like to play for Rangers.
Martin
told City fans he expected us to go straight back up to the
Prem with Micky, and John Elsom made an emotional address,
thanking the fams, as he stepped down as Chairman. Martin
presented him with a silver plate on behalf of the club.
Micky
Adams gave all the youngsters a run out and they held their
own against plenty of Internationals in what was a pretty
dull game, but a great experience.
Stevenson
just missed out on levelling the game when a shot hit the
crossbar near the end.
