After weeks of speculation and calls from the fans, the board have done the decent thing and shunted Dave Bassett upstairs as of teatime on Saturday.

Mcky Adams will become "The Gaffer" of Leicester City after the Man Utd game. Bassett will have one last game in charge and receive an award at the game from the FA for his 1000 games as a manager. He could also have us relegated by 4.50pm.

Alternatively, we could pull of the win of the season and then expect Micky to win the last 4 to keep us up!

Bassett is going to be a buffer between Micky and the board (Shouldn't that say buffoon? - Ed)

Micky is already getting his excuses in for those last few games and next year by basically saying he's got to work with the crap that he's been left with...

"I just hope people are patient because I'm no miracle worker. I'm going to have the same players and injury list as Dave Bassett so it will take time."

Well that's no bleeding use to us Adams! We want top of the first division by Christmas or you're out mate!

Just start as you mean to go on by stuffing Celtic ok? And oh how we can't wait for the Brighton game next season...
