City may be entering into talks with out of favour Man City striker, Paul Dickov.

Bassett says there is no chance of any deals being struck this week.

Dickov has only made 7 subs appearances for Man City this season and is out of contract in the summer so available for a nominal fee.

He turnded down a loan move to Stoke yesterday and Bassett could jump at the chance to get the striker on the cheap.
