The Sun apparently says that Adams has told close friends
that he is unhappy at being number two at Filbert Street and
that he wants to be given the managers job on a full-time
basis.
This
comes a few days after Bassett hinted in interviews that he
would like to carry on as boss next season if we go down.
Bassett's
initial contract runs until the end of next season and Micky
new the score when he signed, but maybe he has become frsutrated,
as have many of the fans.
Some
City fans believe Micky should be given the reigns asap and
are not overly impressed with Bassett so far, or his signings.
If
we get relegated there may be some tempting offers for Micky
in the future to manage his own club at that level or higher...would
the City board move to keep him?
The
Sun, of course, could be talking a load of old nonsense as
usual, and Micky is quite happy gaining experience knowing
that the Leicester job is safely his in a year at the most,
maybe before then.
