Bournemouth have signed Leicester City's utility player, Danny
Thomas, after the 20-year-old impressed on a weeks' trial
at Dean Court.
Thomas,
who was a trainee at Nottingham Forest before signing for
City, has signed a contract with the Cherries until the end
of the season. He was a second-half substitute in the 1-0
defeat against Brentford.
Danny
Thomas was a highly rated prospect under Martin O'Neill but
has failed to impress under both Peter Taylor and Dave Bassett.
City need to reduce their wage bill with relegation to Division
one looming, so Bassett has been told to strip the squad to
the bare essentials.
The
left-sided player joins another struggling side; AFC Bournemouth
sit just two points clear of the relegation zone in Division
Two.
