Muzzy Izzet looks set to start for Turkey in their friendly game against Ecuador in Breda, Holland.

The Leicester midfielder is likely to be part of a five-man midfield and will play alongside Galatasaray's Hakan Unsal, Blackburn playmaker Tugay, Yildiray Basturk of Bayer Leverkusen and Emre Belozoglu of Inter Milan.

Turkey national coach, Senol Gunes, is looking to experiment against South American opposition as they face Brazil in Group C in the Far East this summer.

Turkey will also play China and Costa Rica, with Izzet set to play a vital role in midfield.
