Reports
saying that Matt Jones will be out for over 5 months is probably
an understatement.
It
is more likely that poor Jonesy will be out for a year.
Matt's
exploding knee was a severe rupture to his anterior cruciate
ligament, a MRI scan revealed today.
Van
Nistelroy's move to Man Utd was held up for a year due to
a similar injury, and other players such as Gascoigne and
Roy Keane have also had it. On some occasions players do not
recover enough from it and are forced to retire.
