City have lost out on a £100,000 windfall thanks to the cancellation of the Arsenal game on New Year's Day.

The game had been scheduled to be shown by Sky as Pay-Per-view, netting City a £100,000 pay out.

Now that the game has been rearranged for next Wednesday, Sky cannot show it due to prior commitments for the Worthington Cup semi finals.

Apparently The Premier League ordered City and Arsenal to play the game next Wednesday rather than later. Thanks a bunch, fellows.
