The Daily Mirror was reporting today that Crystal Palace are interested in Ade Akinbyi for £2.5m. Remember (how could you forget) that he cost City £5m.

Big Trev Benjamin is currently on loan there so they obviously feel in need of a striker...so why would they want Ade? have the mirror got their wires crossed?

Ade's agent squashed the rumour saying there was no truth in it, that Ade was happy at Leicester at the moment but that things may change in the coming weeks as there were a few clubs interested in him. (My local Sunday League team said they need someone with muscles for the scraps they get into - Ed)

City fans seem resigned to the fact that Ade can't score ina brothel, but his pace can be useful and his nuisance value is great. Should we really lose £2.5m on him?

FFS thinks we should send the shortfall as an invoice to Taylor...
