Director, Sir Rodney Walker is to probably keep his job on
the Wembley project, despite all the Directors resigning en
masse.
From Ananova:
The board of directors at the company which runs the Wembley
national stadium project are to resign en masse.
The Football Association announced the 13 directors of Wembley
National Stadium Limited (WNSL) will stand down and a new
slimmed-down board will be formed, but including several of
the current directors.
FA chief executive Adam Crozier will be on the new board,
and WNSL chairman Sir Rodney Walker
and FA finance director Michael Cunnah are also expected to
be reappointed.
It will be Crozier, however, who will play the leading role
in building the new board.
The changes follow recommendations in an FA report which said
Wembley needed to streamline its management structure to make
the project more attractive to financial institutions in the
City.
Last month, the FA announced they aimed to proceed with plans
for a 90,000-seat stadium costing a total of £715million.
