After initial rumours last week it now seems to have been confirmed by Bassett that as soon a Gary Rowett is fit, he will be off to Charlton for the fee of £3m.

Rowett was one of Taylor's better signings but has struggled with fitness so far this season.

Bassett is obviously willing to cash in and the £3m will be more than welcome for the cash strapped Foxes.

The tabloids are reporting today that Bassett is looking to bring in Tranmere Rover's up and coming star defender, 23 year old Clint Hill as a replacement for Rowett.
