Soccernet
are reporting that Leeds are once more being linked with transfer
listed Muzzy Izzet.
David
O'Leary was alledged to have been interested in Muzzy earlier
in the year, as were Villa. But the Leeds Chairman issued
a statement saying they weren't going to be after him.
Leeds
now look like they need some bolstering of their midfield
if they are to compete for the title, and Risdale may have
to get his hand in his pocket again.
If
they are interested in Muzzy it would seem that they may have
a chance of getting their man seeing as he put himself on
the transfer list. The figure talked about is about £7m,
but considering we would have to give 20% to Chelsea, that
doesn't sound like nearly enough.
Now
Taylor has gone, and Harry and Micky are turning things around,
could there be a chance that Muzzy will stay? He has his Turkish
place in the World Cup at stake next year to think about.
Would he get regular first team football at Leeds?
