That illustrious and respected newspaper, the News of the World, today reported that Sav is close to signing for West Ham.

The paper quotes a source allegedly close to the City star as saying:

"A deal is pretty near. It is the right time for him to move on.

"He's enjoyed his time at Leicester. They have been good for him and vice versa but there comes a stage in everyone's career when it is time for a new challenge."

The News of the World say that the fee would be in the region of £5million and that the money will help Harry finance a deal for Nottingham Forest's want-away skipper Chris Bart-Williams.

So could there be any truth at all in the story? Yes, we all know that signing a new contract means naff all these days, and yes, maybe Sav bought a brand new house in the Leics countryside a few weeks ago to make a profit knowing he was going to London ...but c'mon, who in their right mind woiuld sign for West Ham?!
