FFS
tends to bugger off when there's no footy on ie International
weekends, so apologies for no updates over the weekend, but
we're back now to get up to date with all the comings and
goings at Filbo.
Flu
ridden Harry has not been resting on his poorly laurels, that's
for sure. He's been wheeling players in to try out left right
and centre from all around the world.
First
in was the three Aussies, one of whom seems to be impressing.
Then
the continuing saga of Zhang Yuning's work permit raised it's
head again as the Home Office said it was looking at further
evidence from the Chinese FA.
Second
in were the two Italians, but they've apparently been "allowed
to go home" (as opposed to being tied up in a cellar
at Belvoir Drive, we presume).
Back
to Zhang...the Home Office, despite knowing the guy will be
earning thousands of pounds here, and therefore paying thousands
of pounds in tax here, decide he aint played enough for China
and say no. Probably a bloody Derby fan working there. Bastards.
Get that appeal in.
Third
in was some Frenchie with a girl's name. French midfielder
Jocelyn Gourvennec, currently with Rennes, has also appeared
for Marseilles and Montpellier. Second in command, Micky Adams
explained to the official site that Jocelyn was actually a
bloke:
"Jocelyn
has been highly recommended to us and we will have a good
look at him this week. From what I've seen already he certainly
looks a talented boy. Hopefully he can do enough to impress
us and we can take it from there."
He
has until Friday to do so.
Meanwhile
Zhang is still telling anyone who will listen he'll be starting
against Man Utd on Saturday...
Not
content with all these triallists, Harry finally parted with
some cash today, although the figure has not been disclosed
yet. 24 year old defender, Alan Rogers, is to see the error
of his ways and leave F£$%^& to join Leicester.
With
Ade staying at Leicester, and Muzzy not exactly being overwhelmed
with offers, it will probably be a fee consisting of a pint
of guinness and a packet of pork scratchings, and a cheese
snadwich after 50 appearances. Cos he was on a Bosman at the
end of the summer so F£$%^& should be damn grateful
we're even giving them that.
The
F£$%^& site says...
The
England ‘B’ international is due to travel to Leicester this
afternoon for personal talks and to undergo a medical. Rogers,
who returned to action earlier this season after a 12-month
lay-off with a knee ligament problem, was offered a new improved
contract by Forest earlier this season. He rejected that offer
and would have been available on a Bosman-inspired free transfer
at the end of the season.
Hart
said: "Once Alan had rejected our offer of a new contract,
we were left with no alternative but to listen to offers for
him.
"We
have agreed a fee with Leicester and Alan is now free to discuss
personal terms with Dave Bassett."
Rogers
has clocked-up more than 150 appearances - and scored 20 goals
- for The Reds since his arrival at The City Ground from Tranmere
in the summer of 1997."
The
Scouser cost the Trees £2million. One of FFS's F£$%^&
contacts said. "He's supposed to be a defender but he
can't bloody defend to save himself. He'll score more than
Akinbiyi will though, play him up front."
