The Leicester Mercury have reported that Leicester City defender Tommy Goodwin has signed for Shepshed Dynamo only 2 weeks after Stuart Wilson also signed for them.

Goodwin had suffered a back injury and had been getting back to fitness with the Anstey Nomads.

Goodwin made a few first team games under O'Neill when the wretched injury list was huge in January 2000. He spent pre-season with Chesterfield. The Leicester born lad's contract ran out at City so Shepshed have got him for free.

FFS wishes both Tommy and Stuart all the best and hopes to see them back in the spotlight as they both rebuild their careers. Both have great talent and deserve success.
