Forfoxsake would like to congratulate Mr Gordon Strachan, former Coventry City manager, who today had the good sense to get out of Cov while he still had his head on his shoulders.

Mr Strachan will forever be remembered as the Coventry manager to take them back into the First Division after a completely surreal stay in the top flight spanning several years.

For that the man must be cheered and toasted throughout Leicestershires pubs tonight.

Unfortunately the wee canny ginger lad has now left Coventry City, just as we thought that he would be taking them even further down the Nationwide divisions into completely uncharted territory, the Second Division.

Mr Strachan Sir, you are a legend. May you find your way to Derby County.
