Harry Redknapp, the hot favorite to replace Peter Taylor if he leaves Filbert Street, has reportedly been discussing terms with City bosses.

Although according to Redknapp, who spoke to Radio 5's Simon Mayo on Friday, he had not been in contact with City, but today's papers are reporting a different story.

It is suggested that he has been talking terms and pay packets, not only for himself but also for his backroom staff, Lampard and Bassett, the same staff that backed him up at West Ham.

If the rumour is true then expect an announcement around Wednesday.
