New
City 'keeper Ian Walker is a surprise inclusion in the England
squad that will face Albania tomorrow night.
His
call up has been forced due to Nigel Martyn having to withdraw
because of a damaged knee and with David James and Paul Robinson
both out through injury Walker was the obvious choice.
F.A
spokesbloke Adrian Bevington said "Nigel Martyn has returned
to Leeds after tweaking his knee in training.
"The
decision was taken for him to return to Leeds and, in his
absence, Ian Walker has been called up to the squad."
Walker
has still not yet played for Leicester yet due to him being
suspended after an incident while playing for Spurs reserves
while he was still a Tottenham player last season.
Walker's
last involvement with England was back in 1999 when he played
against Scotland.
