When
was the last time Arsenal couldn't sell out Highbury? Well
it won't be full on Saturday as Leicester City fans are voting
with their feet and the club still have 250 tickets left today.
None will be available on the day for fear that Arse fans
will buy ones in the Leicester end.
Tickets
will be available at Filbert Street in person until Saturday
morning. £24 each. (An increase of 30% on last year)
The
irony of course is that many Foxes fans in London are unable
to get tickets for the game! When ringing the club ticket
office and giving a London postal address they are refused
tickets. Sometimes. Even if they were Season Ticket holders
or members last season. And even if they have broad Lestoh
accents!
Forfoxsake
totally understands concerns over safety, but if this is the
rule it needs enforcing for everyone that calls, not some
and not others, and there needs to be a system so genuine
Leicester fans living in London are not penalised. How do
they sell tickets over the net and ensure safety?
We'll
be raising it at the first Fans Forum and with the London
Branch of the Supporters Club.
If
you've had difficulty getting tickets, let us know by e-mail
or in
the Fans
Forum.
