From
Leicester Mercury...
"Leicester
City legend Steve Walsh has been appointed director of football
at Loughborough Football Club.
The
36-year-old, who played more than 400 games in a 15-year career
at Filbert Street, agreed to the deal after talks with the
club's directors. Walsh will work with players at all levels
and it is hoped that his presence at the Drome-based club
will also increase their profile both on and off the field.
"There
is a lot of potential at the club and I'm looking forward
to working with everyone at Loughborough especially the youngsters,"
said Walsh, who has recently become a partner in Leicester's
Happy Valley Chinese restaurant on New Walk with former team-mate
Julian Joachim."

this the best thing ever to to happen to Loughborough Football
