Martin O'Neill tonight confirmed that Steve Guppy will have a medical in Glasgow tomorrow morning.

Speaking after Celtic's 4-3 win at Old Trafford, O'Neill was asked about his transfer activity this afternoon. He admitted that the Hartson deal looked on, and was then asked about Guppy.

MON said that Gupps would be having a medical tomorrow, and Sky are reporting that the fee will be £700,000.

This will piss Cov off who have been gazumped at the last minute. Shame.

MON also was asked whether he would be pursuing Matt Elliott. He answered no.
