City
youngster Kevin Ellison looks set to join Grimsby town next
season as he is loaned out to the Mariners if reports are
to be believed.
Grimsby
already have former City player Stuart Campbell on the books
when they took him on after a loan spell last season. With
the possibility of a permanent move to Blundell Park City
fans must be asking themselves what is happening to City's
youth players.
Ellison will be the latest of a number of City's young players
to go out on loan with most of the others never returning
back. Since Taylor took charge Dudfield and Campbell have
both left City after going out on loan to lower league clubs.
Ellison
is reported to be joining up with the rest of the Grimsby
Town squad today with Mariners boss Lawrence saying, "Kevin
will be with us for Lilleshall, and then hopefully for the
Sweden tour as well. We may try to do a similar thing with
him as we did with Stuart Campbell last season."
Ellison
joined City just five months ago for £50,000 from Unibond
Premier League side Altrincham.
If
he does leave City for good then he will have some good memories
to take with him. He made his debut back in March against
Manchester United when he came on as a second half substitute
in front of 67,000 people at Old Trafford.!

Taylor allow all of this young talent to leave City? Let us
