Dennis Wise denied stories today that he had knocked himself out on a toilet whilst throwing up due to having had one too many n Saturday night!

The unconcious Wise was apparently taken off to hospital, but is none the worse for wear.

Peter Taylor is reported to have said:

"Dennis rang me on Sunday to say there could be stories in the papers about him and to explain what happened.

"He was out for a meal with his wife, when he tripped and fell in the restaurant, and did bang his head.

"The blow temporarily knocked him out, and he was taken to hospital to be checked out. But there was nothing too serious and they discharged him, and he was given the all-clear to report for training."

C'mon Wisey, how many pints of Stella had you had really?!
