City have confirmed that they are trying to line up a HOME
friendly, a definite break from the norm, with a big name
club the week before the start of the Premiership.
So
who will the big name be at Filbert Street on August 11th?
Number
one bet at the moment is Roberto Mancini's Fiorentina, as
it is rumoured that it was part of his deal in leaving City
so quickly to go and coach the Italian Serie A side.
Forfoxsake
is unsure how they will afford to get to Filbert Street as
they are currently reported to be £100million in debt!
They've just sold Toldo and Costa (without telling them up
front) to rivals Parma to ease some of the financial worry,
for a combined fee of £43million (140billion Lira!!!).
This
was about 3 hours after owner Vittorio Cecchi Gori had dismissed
reports that his club will be forced to sell players to ward
off the threat of bankruptcy...

Forfoxsake particularly likes the set of photos entitled "hugging
pictures"!
Mancini's
official site can be found at http://www.robertomancini.com
where there are wonderful photos of him as a baby and at every
stage in his career, but for some inexplicable reason, none
of him in a Leicester shirt!
Will
the Serie A side rustle up enough Lira for their airfare?
And will they be impressed with the East stand?
