Hartson has now apparently announced that he'll never play for Coventry again, after Leicester's £3.5m bid was turned down. Will Taylor up his bid to £4m despite Cov saying they want £7m? One paper has Muzzy Izzet desperate to join O'Neill and Lennon at Celtic, whilst another has him signing for Villa of all people next week for £8m. Why on earth would he want to go to Villa?! Where do they get these ideas from...

The long running saga of the Carroll deal looks to be in tatters. Several sources are saying Taylor has been told by the Board and Elsom to sign more experienced players, so Carroll will be off to Man Utd rather than Leicester by the looks of it. We may regret that in a few years...

A new rumour has surfaced today that we have put in a £3m bid for the Spurs goalie Ian Walker, and it has been accepted. Do we really need to spen that much on a goalie? Is it ready for when Tim gets injured again and has to retire this season?! And can we have someone in our team with yet another awful hair cut?

Another new rumour today is Taylor showing an interest in Man Utd's Denis Irwin. More on that if it looks to be a serious option. Irwin has just signed a new contract at Old Trafford hasn't he, so not sure if there's anything there. Apparently Watford are interested in him too.
