According
to this mornings Daily Mirror, former City boss Martin O'Neill
is set to make an eleventh hour bid for Leicester target John
Hartson.
The
paper reports that the Parkhead chief is set to offer him
5 Million and the chance to ply Champions League football
next season.
It
all looked like being a done deal yesterday after it was announced
that City had agreed a fee with Coventry and that personal
terms were set to be agreed.
These
rumours where then quashed just hours later when Coventry
Chairman Bryan Richardson told his official website thatCity
would have to double their 3.5 Million bid making the total
fee wanted a cool 7 Million.
It
is still unknown whether or not the Celtic rumours are true
or if the deal for Hartson to come to City has collapsed yet
but one thing is for certain, City fans will be less than
happy if their former manager again snatches another player
from under their noses, especially with rumours that Matt
Elliott, Savage and Izzet are all targets for City's former
boss.

this just Saturday morning paper talk or could it be a sign
of things to come? Tell us in the Fans
