Recent web reports are indicating that current Coventry striker John Hartson is almost certain to complete his move to Leicester early next week after negotiations have reached an advanced stage with City boss Peter Taylor spending most of Thursday faxing offers and valuations between them.

Hartson is also said to have had a meeting with Coventry chairman Bryan Richardson which ended with Hartson reaffirming his desire to stay in the Premiership.

Hartson's medical status is as always the main stumbling block and getting insurance for the often injured player could prove a pain, mainly because of his dodgy knees.
