According
to press reports in today's newspapers and websites, John
Hartson could be coming to Leicester afterall.
It
appears that Peter Taylor has not yet given up on his attempts
to sign the Coventry striker even though a reported 1 Million
bid was turned down and labeled as derisory by Coventry
Bryan Richardson.
But
current reports suggest that the Welsh international is ready
to quit Coventry because he wants Premiership football, a
statement that was later denied by his agent Jonathan Barnett.
City
manager Peter Taylor would make no comment either on the current
Hartson situation but rumours that a fresh offer of £3.5million
have been circulating.
Coventry's
chairman Bryan Richardson has also refused to confirm Citys
interest by saying, Its our business, not yours,
surly an indication that he is not happy with whatever decision
that Hartson has made.
It
is not guaranteed that Hartson will come to Leicester though
with several other clubs also interested including 'Boro,
Sunderland, Newcastle and Liverpool.

Hartson be the answer to our prayers? Tell us in the Fans
