Constantly
rumoured goalkeeping target Roy Carroll has today been linked
with Everton who are apparently debating an eleventh hour
bid.
If rumours are to be believed then City boss Peter Taylor
has the £2 Million rated 'keeper in the bag but Everton
boss Walter Smith is now hoping to raise the stakes if the
cash-strapped Merseysiders can get funds together to make
a bid.
Smith
is desperate to strengthen his goalkeeping department especially
now that Thomas Myhre and Steve Simonsen likely to move on
this summer.
Although City still remain firm favorites to complete the
deal weekend speculation about a possible bid for Spurs 'keeper
Ian Walker must have given Smith the incentive to test the
waters.
To
be honest we are getting bored of all of these Carroll rumours
and just wish he'd do something! Are you sick of this aswell?
