Latest player to be linked to Leicester is Athletic Bilbao's highly rated Spanish international Ismael Urzaiz.

The hitman is also believed to be attracting the interest of Sunderland, but whether there is any truth linking the Foxes with the 29-year-old remains to be seen.

Ismael Urzaiz is now considered a serious contender to partner Raul after his sensational haul of six goals in three starts in Spain's Euro 2000 qualifying campaign.

Once considered a journeyman, his strength and heading ability would give the Spanish front line a different dimension. He is now in his fourth season with Athletic Bilbao, having joined in 1996, and is reaching prime form in time for the championships.

He made his international debut against the Czech Republic in a goalless draw in October 1996 and scored twice in Spain's recent 3-0 win over Poland.
