Reports
in today's Sunday Mirror suggest that the FA decided at the
last minute to offer Taylor a full time job when they realised
they would have to pay millions in compensation to Leicester.
The
Mirror reports that when Leicester appointed the former Gillingham
boss last summer, they inserted a clause in his deal to see
off any approaches for Taylor, legal or otherwise.
Apparently
contrary to some reports FA chief executive Adam Crozier was
on the verge of offering Taylor a full-time coaching post
with England until he discovered the extent of the compensation
involved. A cool £4million.
Do
you think Pater should have been able to stay on with England?
Or should Leicester have taken the £4million and got
rid of him?! Let us know in the
