Despite many rumours about moves for Robbie Savage, the City midfielder announced yesterday that he was staying put at City for the next 3 years as long as thwy didn't want to sell him.

Stories have linked Sav with Celtic (of course) but also several other clubs.

Sav said,

"There has been a lot of speculation linking me with various clubs like Real Betis, Sunderland, Blackburn and Celtic, which I find very flattering.

"But I am under contract to Leicester City for the next three years and, if they don't want to sell me, then I am more than happy to stay for those next three years.

"Like anyone I would be interested if, at the end of those three years, someone like a Manchester United or an Arsenal or a Liverpool came in for me.

"But that is all hypothetical and I am happy to remain with Leicester for the rest of my contract."
