The Sun is today reporting that Sven wants Peter Taylor to
be a full time fixture in the England set up, perhaps with
a role with the U-21s again.
Midas
soccer.com go one better and then say Taylor may stay with
us as manager, with Harry Redknapp coming in as Director of
Football .
MiDAS
sources reckon that Taylor will accept Eriksson's proposals,
on his terms - keep his manager's job at Filbert Street and
Redknapp will move in as 'Director of Football'.
Redknapp
has admitted to holding informal talks with Southampton but,
Midas say, will snub The Saints in favour of an 'upstairs'
role elsewhere.
Evidently,
Eriksson is waiting for Leicester City chairman John Elson
to return from holiday and there may be more developments
next week.
After
the season City fans have had and the patience they have shown
with Taylor, what would be the reaction if he did put England
first? Relief or anger? Tell us in our Fans
Forum.
