The News of the World is pretty certain that Denis Wise has agreed to join Leicester. They are reporting that a friend of his has confirmed it to them.

The Sunday Mirror is reporting that Chelsea's Greame Le Saux is also a shock target for Leicester.

It says that Foxes boss Peter Taylor has made an inquiry for the 32-year-old England defender, who is in his second spell at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea would demand a fee of about £3m for him.

The Sunday Mirror is also saying that boss Peter Taylor is set to end his pursuit of Wigan goalkeeper Roy Carroll by signing the Northern Ireland international for £2m.

They go on to say that Taylor is also favourite to land surplus-to-requirements Leeds United winger Jason Wilcox.

But Taylor has recently denied his interest in Wilcox.
