Leicester defender, Frank Sinclair, has signed an extension
to his existing contract.
The
29 year old is now committed to The Foxes until 2004. Sinclair,
who joined the Foxes from Chelsea in August 1998 for £2 million,
agreed the three-year deal on Thursday.
The
Jamaican international told the club's website:
"I
can now enjoy the summer break and look forward to a strong
pre-season during which I will make my case for a place in
Mr Taylor's team.
"The
injuries I sustained meant that last season was a frustrating
one for me but I am pleased to sign a new contract with the
club."
Peter
Taylor added:
"I
am delighted that Frank has committed his future to Leicester
City. "He is an important and influential member of our squad."
