There may yet be a chance to sign Fabrizio Ravanelli after it was revealed that Lazio are willing to let him go on a free instead of the £1-2m price tag that was on his head.

This would make high wages more palatable for Leicester City, who have officially dismissed the move as "pure speculation" to date.
