Filbert Street went up for sale yesterday.
Home
to Leicester since 1891, Filbert Street was formally put on
the market yesterday by the club through its agents DTZ Debenham
Tie Leung.
So what would you get for your money if you wanted it?
The
site is 5.2 acres, but does not include the car park, which
Leicester City Council own and lease to the club.
Within this is 1.2 acres which already has planning permission
for a 102 bedroom hotel and fast food restaurant.
You
have to make an offer by informal tender, to DTZ, by July
6th, and the advert with details about the sale will appear
in next month's Estates Gazette.
The
old Filbo site won't be sold unconditionally until the new
stadium is ready to move into though.
