Forfoxsake
has discovered that there is an outrageous plan to charge
City supporters a £50 deposit to reserve their seat
in the new stadium.
To
make matters worse LCFC PLC are planning to begin this procedure
a year before the stadium is due to be completed which means
that Leicester City chiefs will have your money sitting in
their bank account for a year!
To
FFS this seems more like a scam praying on the people who
love their club and are worried that a new stadium may mean
that they won't be able to get their seat.
There
is no reason why LCFC PLC should charge this money to reserve
a seat by season ticket holders, some of which have been supporters
for many, many years.
There
will be plenty of room in the new stadium to accommodate all
of City's current season ticket holders and a substantial
amount more. Charging just for the privilege of being able
to say that you can have your season ticket in the new stadium
sorted is well out of order.
But
to be fair we thought we would tell you just exactly you get
for your £50 if you pay it in July/August 2001:
A
letter when the new ground is finished to tell you that you
can come and choose your seat.
Now
here is what you will get if you don't pay the deposit and
just go down when the new stadium is finished:
To
choose a seat in the new ground.
Spot
the difference? No neither could we!
Basically
FFS thinks that this plan is fu@ki*g outrageous and totally
discriminates against the less well off in society! It should
be stopped now and we would appreciate not only FFS's readers
views but also the views of the people who decided upon this
rule. We know you read FFS and are waiting for your reply.
