Various
news sources are saying that Steve Guppy could be on his way
to Wolves after boss Dave Jones released Andy Sinton from
his contract.
Guppy
is said to be top of the list as a replacement and he could
relish the challenge after admitting that his oppetunitys
at Filbert Street have been severally limited this season.
Guppy
is no stranger to being linked with other teams though and
was reported to have been a transfer target of former City
striker Steve Claridge earlier in the season when he was still
in charge at Portsmouth.
Someone
who already has one foot out of the door is Richard Cresswell
who has just had his loan period at Preston North End extended
to cover the ply offs.
Preston
North End manager David Moyes is now expected to offer Cresswell
a permanent place in the squad after Cresswell struggled to
hold down a regular place at Filbert Street.
