Forfoxsake
has been hearing alot of rumours recently about who will replace
current boss Peter Taylor if he was to get the bullet during
the summer.
The
latest is from our mate Dez down the pub who was speaking
to my dad yesterday. He said that Lawrie Sanchez, arguably
the man who helped start this run, of Wycombe could be a target
for City if Taylor was to go.
The
chance of this rumour actually having any foundation though
is probably less than nill. Sanchez has already been ruled
out of taking over at Crystal Palace after another former
Wycombe manager, Alan Smith, got the boot over the weekend.
Sanchez
is no stranger to being linked with clubs in the higher divisions
with Wimbledon, QPR and Southampton all being rumoured to
have made him a target this season.
Another
possible replacement should Taylor be given the boot
(which is unlikely) could be former Spurs manager George Graham.
With Graham currently out of a job it was inevitable that
he would be linked with City but with this rumour coming from
a highly dubious source (so dubious we dare not speak it's
name) we don't suggest that any Leicester based newsagents
go out and buy any large quantities of brown paper envelopes
just yet.
