With renewed calls for Peter Taylor's head he has issued a stark warning to all of his critics:

"I have no intention of jacking it in, and it's made me more determined than ever to put things right.

"It's not a very happy time at the moment and our fans deserve better than what we are giving them. I can fully understand them being disappointed and frustrated."
