City's
faithful army of fans predicted more doom and gloom ahead
as City suffered another crushing defeat today.
"If
Taylor had managed to have scraped a win today then maybe
we would have forgiven him for previous results" said
one disgruntled fan. Alas it was not to be and City fans had
to again be humiliated at the hands of the sheep shaggers.
The
day started fairly well for Taylor with the fans again showing
their support for their manager at the start of the match
and with chants of "Peter Taylor's blue white army"
could be heard right up until the first goal went in.
But
still some fans held firm while others merely went quite.
But the peace did not last long. With error after error being
made by City's players one fan shouted, "Leicester or
England" as others around him vented their fury by asking
Taylor to "sort it out".
During
and after the break much discussion took place with the general
concencus being that Taylor had problems and needed more than
just a little helping hand.
Again
Taylor made substitutions that were criticised. This time
for coming too early after Matt Elliott got injured and we
were left to get it on with only 10 men. On the substitution's
front though Taylor will never win. He was criticised against
Coventry for making the substitutions too late. Now they are
too early. As one fan commented, "He subs it goes wrong,
he doesn't and it still goes wrong".
But
as the second goal was scored by the sheep City fans began
filing out of the stadium and homeward bound.
As
soon as the City faithful were back off the train there was
only one chant being sung. "Taylor out, Taylor out".
Harsh maybe but things have to be done or City will be almost
certain relegation candidates next season.
The
whole situation was summed up in one sentence. "Peter
Taylor, you are the weakest link. Goodbye!"
