With
City slumping to their sixth straight defeat Peter Taylor
admitted that the team are low on confidence.
"I thought both City goals were very stoppable and that
we had more chances than them," he said.
"This is not the happiest job at the moment but I've
got to pick the players up for the game against Derby on Monday.
"After a bright start we've had five league defeats in
a row and it is not going for us. But we need to stick at
it."
Manchester
City manager Joe Royle still believes that his team can make
it to safety in the Premiership after the 2-1 win.
"I thought we were worthy winners.
"We needed to win today or else our future would have
been bleak. Middlesbrough have got an incredible result but
we can't worry about others.
"It is nice to hit 30 points and move above Coventry
in the table. To be honest I don't think there is much difference
between the clubs from 10th place down.
"I am not being disrespectful to Leicester. Our problem
was we had our bad run at the wrong time. Let's hope we can
get a good run going until the end of the season."
