The official Nationwide league site is reporting that Peter Taylor is on the trail of another one of Gillingham's players after already going back to his former club for Junior Lewis.

The player in question is defender Roland Edge who has been with the Gills since signing papers in the summer of 1997. Before that he was on the books as a youth team player.

The Official Gillingham website describes him as:

"A talented young left-sided defender. He established himself as a first-team regular under Peter Taylor and earned rave reviews for a string of fine performances. Struggled to hold down a regular place early on this season but returned against Preston in December. Has been struggling recently with a knee injury."
