City's
poor form spread to Filbert Street this afternoon as City
crashed miserably to Coventry.
Coventry
drew first blood when they came out all guns blazing at the
start and scored inside the first minute when Hadji broke
through the City defence to give Craig Bellamy the chance
to slot one in.
Akinbiyi
managed to get City back on level terms soon after but the
goal didn't help City's lack of confidence and soon after
an unchallenged Lee Carsley headed home to make it 2-1.
The
second half started better for City but their renewed enthusiasm
didn't last longer than the 50th minute when John Hartson
scored from a corner to make it 3-1.
City
did manage a few tame shots on goal in the second half, even
having Muzzy's ruled offside, but to be fair Coventry were
unlucky not to add to their tally.
