Peter
Taylor is insisting that all of his players refuse any kind
of pain killing injections while on international duty reports
the Sun.
Taylor
decided upon the drastic cause of action after Matt Jones
went away with the Welsh squad with a slight ankle injury
that was made worse by him playing under the influence of
pain numbing jabs.
Taylor
told the Sun "I wasn't over the moon about the incident
but I won't be lodging a formal complaint to the Welsh FA.
"Matt
virtually asked for the injection because he was so desperate
to play.
"The
trouble is that he has sustained more damage to his ankle
because of it and I have told all the players that I don't
want a repeat.
"When
I was looking after the England under 21 squad I would never
have contemplated anyone being injected without his clubs
knowledge."
Taylor
has been forced to count the cost of injuries over the last
few weeks with Izzet, Savage, Jones and now Dean Sturridge
all out due to injuries.
