City are still counting the numbers of sick and wounded players today ahead of tomorrow's game against Aston Villa.

Taylor still has Matt Jones on the casualty list with him still suffering from the ankle knock he took last week while on International duty with Wales.

Muzzy Izzet will almost certainly not play with him still not fully recovered from his torn calf muscle and Taylor rates him doubtful for Saturday's home game against Coventry. Meanwhile Darren Eadie looks set to join him in the stands after taking a knock to his knee in the 2-0 defeat against Charlton last Sunday.

Savage will also not play due to his cartilage operation last week.

Good news for Guppy fans though. He played 45 minuets of last nights reserve match against Spurs and rumours suggest that he was withdrawn because Taylor wants him in tomorrow's team.
