Darren
Eadie has been speaking on his official
website about his fears that Leicester's recent run of
bad results may leave them short of a European spot.
He
blames a lack of confidence within the City side aswell as
injury problems for the state of the team at the moment and
also admits that Lee Marshall should not have played on Sunday
because of City's lack of form.
Eadie
says "People have obviously been making a lot of the
fact that we haven't won an away game since beating Middlesbrough
back in November, but we didn't actually realise the run was
that bad until we read about it in the papers.
"We
haven't been preparing for away games any differently to earlier
in the season when we were winning them, but I suppose losing
a few key individual players hasn't done us any good and that,
along with the lack of confidence, could well cost us the
place in Europe we're aiming for.
"The
current situation has made it difficult for the lads who have
come into the side recently, and it must have been very difficult
for Lee Marshall who made his debut on Sunday.
"He
was probably nervous anyway, and the fact that the players
around him weren't on form can't have helped as there was
no one to help him out when things didn't go according to
plan."
Eadie
also has problems of his own at the moment with him limping
off on Sunday's with a knee injury that means he will definitely
miss tomorrow's game against Villa.
